Online Courses Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to online courses purchased through Els Gels Education. By purchasing an online course, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
Digital Course Access & Cancellation
This course contains digital content which is made available immediately following purchase. By purchasing this course, you expressly request and consent to immediate access to the digital content before the end of the statutory 14-day cancellation period. You acknowledge that once access to the digital content begins, you will lose your right to cancel the purchase during that cancellation period. Once course access has begun, purchases are non-refundable, except where you retain statutory rights, including where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Course Eligibility
The Gel Polish & Builder Gel Professional Refresher is designed for already-qualified nail technicians who wish to refresh their existing knowledge, practical skills and confidence. This course is not suitable as initial training for beginners and does not provide an accredited qualification.
Professional Development
This course is provided for professional development and refresher purposes only. The Els Gels Professional Development Certificate issued on completion does not represent an accredited qualification and cannot be used to obtain professional insurance. You remain responsible for ensuring that you hold the appropriate qualifications and insurance required to carry out the treatments you offer.
Proof of Qualification
You may be asked to provide evidence of your existing professional nail qualification before your Els Gels Certificate is issued. Failure to provide suitable evidence may mean that a certificate cannot be awarded.
Course Access
There is no set expiry date for access to the course. Access will remain available for as long as the course continues to be hosted and made available by Els Gels Education. We therefore cannot guarantee permanent or lifetime availability of the course.
Personal Use Only
Course access is for the individual purchaser only. Login details must not be shared with another person.
Videos, written content, images, PDFs and other course materials must not be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed or made available to another person. Downloadable PDFs may be saved for your own future reference and professional development but must not be shared, reproduced or used for commercial or educational purposes.
Educators
Nail educators are welcome to purchase and complete the course for their own professional development. However, Els Gels Education course content, original wording, teaching materials, PDFs, resources, imagery, videos and course structure must not be copied, reproduced, adapted or used to create or deliver another course, class or educational resource without prior written permission.
Intellectual Property
All original course materials and content created by Els Gels Education remain the intellectual property of Els Gels Education. Where unauthorised copying, sharing, reproduction or use of protected course materials is identified, Els Gels Education reserves the right to withdraw course access and take appropriate action to protect its intellectual property.
Course Content & Industry Changes
The nail industry continually evolves, including products, manufacturer guidance, legislation and recommended practices. Course content reflects my professional training, experience and understanding of industry best practice at the time of creation. As a qualified nail technician, you remain responsible for keeping your knowledge current and following applicable legislation, manufacturer instructions, product-specific guidance and the requirements of your own insurer.
Technical Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable device and internet connection to access the course. If you experience a problem accessing course content, please contact Els Gels Education so that we can investigate the issue.
